Free Tourist information on iPhone

Launched an application for the iPhone in 33 European cities. In Vicenza and Turin are free tourist information. Vicenza is since 1994 member of the European Cities Marketing (ECM), a federation that brings together tourism offices of European cities and has also organized a city of its annual meetings.
Since 2009 "Vicenza" also participates to the European "city cards" with the "Palladio Card (www.europeancitycards.com). Now ECM is launching a new application for iPhone that will run for thirty European cities that are members of the federation. With this news, you can get tourist information precisely through your iPhone in 19 different European countries.
Turin and Vicenza are the only two cities in Italy, they will have the advantage to be included in the circuit of the application, valid for the production and distribution of maps for tourists. This way they can use this maps in their visits to the city, without the risk of losing them during their trips. The application created works just like a city card and allows you to have at hand all useful information.

 

The City Cards iPhone App

The City Cards iPhone app allows users to explore the visitor attractions available in Vicenza and others 30 European Cities!

All of the attractions listed in the application are mapped, so the user can easily find their way from their current location to the attraction that they wish to visit.

City Cards are a great way to see the sights when on vacation and at the same time, save money. City Cards give the bearer discounted admission to a range of top visitor attractions, and in many cases offer a range of money saving special offers on food, drink and shopping.
